From June 12 to July 31 an outdoor market is held at Gomez Park, along the waterfront. The market is held every Thursday between 5 and 8pm. Products by local artisans, farmers, and bakers are featured.

This music series occurs between June 17 and July 30. On Tuesday and Wednesday nights there are a range of performances. The Bangor Band and the Heart of Maine Chorus are a few of the featured performers. Performances occur at a variety of locations.

River City Cinema Outdoor Movie Series

Each Friday night, between June 27th and August 1st, the River City Cinema presents an outdoor movie series. The film screenings occur at Pickering Square. The movie usually begins about 8:30pm, at sun down.
